“We do not learn from experience…we learn from reflecting on experience.”-John Dewey

Hi Friend! It’s the second month of the year. It was just like yesterday when New Year Day was celebrated. In no long a time, 2018 will be over and it will be 2019.

I’m certain you set some goals at the beginning of this year. They are probably short term, long term or lifetime goals. These goals were set to help you succeed in your career (performance), business, marital, relationship, etc. You had it all planned out. No better time than now to track your progress. No better time than now to measure your progress.

I congratulate you if you have made progress and can track it. If you think you have not made any progress, I still celebrate you. The mere thoughts that you haven’t made any progress is an indication that you have what it takes to move from your present position to a better one.

I know life is not fair. At times you feel bruised and battered, forsaken and abandoned, cast down and wounded. You ask yourself if you can ever succeed in life and overcome the challenges of life. I’ve got good news for you. Yes, you can! Yes you can overcome life’s challenges. “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.”-Helen Keller.

Rise from the ashes of life. Clean up yourself by taking responsibility for your life and try again. “One can never consent to creep when one feels an impulse to soar.” – Helen Keller.

As February starts, be intentional. Begin with the end in mind. After 28 days, report to someone you trust and respect. Be accountable to that person. The knowledge that you will have to account to someone helps you stay on track. Get rid of anything that will make you take your eyes off your goal.

Life is too beautiful a thing to waste and stay knocked down. There’s no better time to crush your goals than now.

Keep soaring!

    1. Wow! I appreciate the love you’ve shown to me. Thank you Isah. I was indisposed. I am recuperating now. I look forward to seeing you and your classmates tomorrow Deo volente. My regards to your classmates.

  1. Hmmmm… Set goals… Feedback… Re-adjust…and continuing pressing on until the goal is achieved… I like the Helen Keller Part; “life is either a daring adventure or nothing”… I choose adventure over nothing, every time. Thanks bro…and keep soaring too!
